While you never know quite what to expect from the Domino Effect outfit, you can be rest assured that it’ll be produced with a certain level of quality at its core. And so it is that we say hello to the latest individual to step up for them in the shape of Djoko, a producer who clearly knows his way around the production desk if this record is anything to go by.
Anyway, we get underway thanks to the original, ‘Certified Feelin’. A fine showcase of what makes the producer tick, it gets off to a flyer and keeps our attention locked thanks to its unconventional approach. A really unique jam, it’s a memorable one at that too. Fabio Lendrum gives it a new lick of paint as he ups the intensity even further, expertly paving the way for the next original, ‘’I Never’’. An expertly concocted slice of thoroughbred house fare, it moved through the motions with a swagger that suggests it’ll get repeated plays long after the summer has come and gone.
The first of three remixes gets going with Ozzi, whose unlikely melding of sounds is sure to win him plaudits aplenty. Ben Bodie’s remix is another that’s on the correct side of the banging sphere, whereas the EP’s curtain call is Karl Lewis-Lynch’s remix, which is another notable addition to the EP. Certified Feelin is certified fresh!
