If sterling house grooves are your thing, then chances are you’ll gobble up the sounds of Real Nois. The debut EP from the label sees the producer unleash a maelstrom of solid club tackle, the likes of which is sure to go down a storm in any club it pervades. The title of the EP is ‘’House of Prophets’’, and it’s as enjoyable a proposition as it is an all-round curious one.
The action gets underway thanks to the ethereal strands of the title track in original form. Opening with a deep layer of percussion that’d make Ricardo Villalobos wilt, it soon courses towards more playful lines as the vibes and the beats gradually become more pronounced. Very classy stuff indeed.
The remix arrives thanks to Sankeys resident Manu Gonzalez, who reworks the original into a cheeky, playful interpretation that sticks out from the chasing pack thanks to its gorgeous melodies. One for the big room and a very handy DJ tool at that. Culminating the EP is the dub mix, which is an all-round handy addition to the package. A proper example of how to make dance music for the floor, Real Nois’ latest is a treasure from the first to the last.
